The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gede scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gracie in his tracks.
Gede fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gracie on the side of the head.
It looks like Alonzo Gracie has been cut.
Gede moves into the clinch.
Gede escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gede moves into the clinch successfully.
Gracie is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Gede is defending well.
Gede breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gede drops Gracie with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gracie looks back up at him and smiles so Gede waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Gracie is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gede counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Gracie out cold! What a finish! Gede is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
