PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barol Kedorf (ranked 3317 p4p, 308 weight class) and Colin McLauhglin (ranked 2308 p4p, 239 weight class). Kedorf comes into the arena with Ostatni dzwonek blaring out of the sound system. McLauhglin has chosen What the hell are you waiting for as his entrance music. Colin McLauhglin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLauhglin staying out of range there.
Kedorf keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kedorf was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Kedorf throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kedorf throws a shot from downtown. McLauhglin moves away and avoids it.
Kedorf throws a predictable looking body shot
and McLauhglin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Barol Kedorf has been cut.

McLauhglin stuns Kedorf with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

McLauhglin clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kedorf.
McLauhglin lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Kedorf tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
McLauhglin lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kedorf.
Kedorf is breathing heavily.
A short body shot lands from McLauhglin as the two fighters clinch.
McLauhglin lands with a left to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

McLauhglin pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McLauhglin looking for a sweep. Not yet McLauhglin, not yet.

Kedorf avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

McLauhglin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kedorf can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

McLauhglin has his foot on Kedorf's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kedorf works his way back into a safe position though.

McLauhglin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
McLauhglin lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Kedorf has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Kedorf has momentary wrist control but McLauhglin slips an elbow through the middle.
McLauhglin lands a couple of digs.

McLauhglin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kedorf's head.

Barol Kedorf's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

McLauhglin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
McLauhglin connects with a couple of short punches.

Jeez, Barol Kedorf's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

A relieved looking Colin McLauhglin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Barol Kedorf stepped up to the mic, saying 'Juz nie moge sie doczekac, az wroce do domu i przytule mojego synka Morysa '.
