Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Herman Luez (ranked 4609 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Skinner (ranked 2638 p4p, 324 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skinner misses with a hook. Luez ducked under it nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Skinner. Those never looked like landing.
Luez swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Luez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Skinner.

Skinner lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Luez sprawling to the canvas. Skinner follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Luez hang on?

Luez is rocked!

It looks like Herman Luez has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Skinner throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Oh Luez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Luez slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Skinner must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Skinner is looking to work some ground and pound but Luez has wrist control.
Luez throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Luez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Skinner's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Skinner is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Skinner wants to get back to his feet but Luez is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Skinner looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Luez seems to have got his legs back now.
Luez postures up in Skinner's guard and throws a big left but Skinner blocks it.
Luez is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Skinner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Luez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Luez is looking to work some ground and pound but Skinner has wrist control.

Luez stands up and waves to Skinner to follow him.

Skinner drops Luez with a left and a right! Oh, Luez is hurt - Skinner dives into side control looking to finish!
Skinner wants to stand but Luez has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Skinner wants to stand but Luez is controlling his posture from full guard.

Luez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Luez is on top in guard.

Skinner wants to sweep here but Luez controlling him for the moment.

Luez is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Skinner wants to stand up but Luez is controlling him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Skinner lands a glancing blow to the side of Luez's head.
Skinner scores with a sloppy right hand. Luez should have avoided that one.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Skinner closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Luez out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
