Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hal Green (ranked 3962 p4p, 422 weight class) and Piotr Przepiorka (ranked 4774 p4p, 464 weight class). Przepiorka has chosen Kękę - Presja as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hal Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Piotr Przepiorka!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Przepiorka.
Green throws a right and a left that both miss.
Green misses with a few strikes there.
Przepiorka tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Green lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Przepiorka backs up against the cage.

Przepiorka throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Green tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Przepiorka is in Green's guard.
Przepiorka controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Przepiorka pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Green is keeping the position for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Przepiorka's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Przepiorka can do anything to dispel that myth.
Green is fighting to break Przepiorka's control of his arms but Przepiorka is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Przepiorka preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Green stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Przepiorka swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Green wants to stand and escape but Przepiorka is having none of it.
Green looking to hit a scissor sweep but Przepiorka is one step ahead there.
Przepiorka is pushing down on Green's leg trying to pass to half guard. Green is fighting to maintain full guard but Przepiorka has managed to sneak the leg through.

Przepiorka is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Green has managed to free his arm - good work.
Green is looking to escape.
Green is looking to control Przepiorka's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Green avoid being mounted?
Przepiorka trying to advance position but Green counters by regaining guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Przepiorka is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Green wants to sweep here but Przepiorka controlling him for the moment.
Przepiorka slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Przepiorka shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Green napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Green is trying to control Przepiorka's posture but Przepiorka avoids it.
Przepiorka tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Przepiorka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Green keeps working.
Green is letting Przepiorka control him for a moment.

Przepiorka is continuing to stall.
Green manages to work his way to half guard, despite Przepiorka's best efforts.
Przepiorka is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Green wants to improve his position but Przepiorka is controlling well.
Przepiorka takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Green looks to land a combination but Przepiorka avoids it well.
Green tries to bum rush Przepiorka with a series of wild strikes but Przepiorka uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Przepiorka is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Przepiorka shoots in and bounces Green off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Przepiorka is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Green rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Przepiorka moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Green misses with a few strikes there.
And Przepiorka tries to counter it with a takedown but Green pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Piotr Przepiorka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Przepiorka wants to free his trapped foot but Green is holding on for dear life with his legs.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Let's hope that Przepiorka has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Green throws a right hand that Przepiorka ducks under and follows up with a left that Przepiorka also avoids with ease.
Przepiorka has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Przepiorka there as he acknowledges the shot.
Green tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Przepiorka changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Przepiorka looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Przepiorka is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Green wants to control but Przepiorka is having none of it.

Green wants to hold on but Przepiorka pushes him away.
