Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Billy Bongrips!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Syco Souirrel!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bongrips looks for a takedown but Souirrel sprawls well.
Bongrips shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Bongrips wants to take a breather but Souirrel is having none of it.

Bongrips fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Souirrel avoids it really well and circles away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Nice uppercut lands for Souirrel. That snapped Bongrips's head back.

Souirrel unleashes a big counter combination but Bongrips bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
The fighters circling - Bongrips throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bongrips darts in looking for a takedown but Souirrel gets double underhooks and turns Bongrips into the ropes.

Souirrel decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Billy Bongrips will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bongrips with a lazy takedown attempt
and Souirrel counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bongrips will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Souirrel dives in for a single leg takedown but Bongrips sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.
Souirrel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bongrips tries to avoid it but Souirrel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bongrips to the ground. Bongrips escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Souirrel closes the distance and clinches up with Bongrips, looking for a takedown. Souirrel pushes Bongrips against the ropes but Bongrips circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Billy Bongrips has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Syco Souirrel.
Souirrel stuffs the takedown.
As Bongrips backs off Souirrel throws a huge counter combo but Bongrips manages to avoid it all.

and Souirrel counters by moving into the clinch.
Souirrel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Souirrel drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bongrips wants to stall.

Souirrel is trying to drag Bongrips to the mat but Bongrips just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Bongrips looking for a triangle here. Souirrel is fighting it but it looks tight! Bongrips pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Souirrel is tapping out - this one is all over!

A relieved looking Billy Bongrips thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
