The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury dives in for a single leg takedown but Joe sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Joe looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Fury shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Joe defends it nicely.
We've been informed that Joe has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Joe stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Joe wants it to stay on the feet.
