The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kessler lands a body shot.

and Plushmaster counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Plushmaster.

Plushmaster gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Kessler regains guard.
Kessler is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Plushmaster chips away with some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Plushmaster postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Plushmaster should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Kessler is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Kessler had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Plushmaster defends it easily.

Kessler has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Plushmaster can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kessler has a closed guard, preventing Plushmaster from standing up.

Oh but Kessler is tightening it up a little... Plushmaster has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Plushmaster reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Plushmaster taps out! Nice BJJ there by Kessler!
