Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cameron Lennox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niels van de Veen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lennox comes to the cage accompanied by Country boy can survive. van de Veen has chosen Separate Ways - Journey as his entrance music. Niels van de Veen has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
van de Veen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
van de Veen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
van de Veen scores with a crisp jab that stopped Lennox in his tracks.
Lennox really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lennox uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from van de Veen.
van de Veen throws a push kick but Lennox slaps the foot to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
van de Veen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Lennox takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Lennox throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around van de Veen's waist but van de Veen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lennox off to one side.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Lennox. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

A head kick lands from van de Veen that sends Lennox to the canvas. Lennox tries to scramble back to his feet but van de Veen brings him back down into side control.

Lennox shoots in looking for a takedown. van de Veen tries to sprawl out of it but Lennox keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. van de Veen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
van de Veen works over Lennox's head and body with a nice combination.
van de Veen thuds his right hand into Lennox's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Lennox walks into a stiff left hand from van de Veen.
Lennox closes the distance and clinches up with van de Veen, looking for a takedown. Lennox pushes van de Veen against the cage but van de Veen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Well van de Veen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
