The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Demuss scores with a four punch combination!

It looks like Charles Scott has been cut.
Demuss misses with a looping left.
Scott looks for a takedown but Demuss sprawls well.
Demuss darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Scott shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Demuss is trying to defend but Scott finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Demuss makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Demuss lands with an overhand left.
Demuss fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Demuss throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Scott misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Demuss goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

The fight stays on the outside here - Scott looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Demuss ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A head kick misses from Scott.
Jake Demuss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scott walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Demuss could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Scott works the jab nicely.
