Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spinning Fire (ranked 2369 p4p, 101 weight class) and Florence Fergunson (ranked 4125 p4p, 154 weight class). Florence Fergunson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Spinning Fire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Florence Fergunson!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fergunson misses with a jab to the body

and Fire decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fergunson's guard.
Fire's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Fire seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fergunson for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fire accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fire has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fire, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
