The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armando keeps the fight on the outside.
Wagon goes for a double leg but Armando avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Armando continues to drive forward.
Armando tries a quick counter leg kick but Wagon is wise to it.
Wagon is looking to clinch.

Armando changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wagon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wagon is trying to improve his position.
You can see the frustration on Wagon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Armando advances nicely into full mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Armando's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Wagon tries to reverse the position but Armando maintains control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wagon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Armando on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
