The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Proudhon tries to bum rush Wallace with a series of wild strikes but Wallace uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wallace throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Proudhon to counter with a crisp jab.
Proudhon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Proudhon misses with a straight left.
Wallace misses with a combination
and Proudhon counters with a nice uppercut.
Proudhon takes a swing at Wallace's ribcage but misses.
Wallace throws out a counter right but Proudhon avoids it with no problem.
Wallace throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Proudhon throws a predictable looking body shot
and Wallace counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wallace misses with a looping left.
Wallace scores with a sloppy right hand. Proudhon should have avoided that one.
Wallace tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Proudhon was well out of range. Poor timing from Wallace.

Proudhon throws a hook but Wallace blocks it.

and Wallace counters with a crisp one two that drops Proudhon! Wallace thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Proudhon to his feet! Proudhon is in big trouble!

and Wallace counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Proudhon out cold! What a finish! Wallace is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
