Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hercules Fortier (ranked 129 p4p, 14 weight class) and Iain Tower (ranked 153 p4p, 22 weight class). Tower has chosen Kanye - Power as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Iain Tower!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortier throws an off balance right hand
and Tower counters with a good low kick that Fortier was not able to check.
Fortier uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tower.
As Tower backs away, Fortier returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Fortier tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Fortier looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Fortier throws a lazy body kick
and Tower counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Hercules Fortier has been cut.
Fortier throws a big shot that misses.
Tower was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Tower thows a left - swing and a miss!

Fortier gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Tower counters with a nice body shot.
Hercules Fortier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fortier throws a chopping leg kick but Tower manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Fortier with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Tower with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fortier to score with a decent uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A low kick from Fortier misses
and Tower counters with a low kick, right behind Fortier 's knee.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tower tries to land a front kick but Fortier steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Fortier misses with an uppercut.
Fortier cracks Tower with a good jab.
Tower keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tower slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Hercules Fortier's cut is getting worse.
Tower lands a big uppercut and Fortier crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Fortier looks OK. Tower waves Fortier back to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Iain Tower is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fortier throws an off balance right hand
and Tower counters with a nice right hand that sends Fortier toppling to the canvas! Fortier scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Tower finish him?!
Fortier is rocked!
Hercules Fortier's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Fortier on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Fortier rushes Tower and presses him up against the cage.
Fortier lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Fortier lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tower backwards.
Fortier tries a body shot but Tower blocks it.

Tower goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Tower is trying to break the clinch but Fortier is controlling him.

Fortier thuds his right hand into Tower's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Tower looks to land a right hand but Fortier moved out of range.

Fortier throws a hook to the side of Tower's head but Tower sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jeez, Hercules Fortier's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Fortier throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Tower counters with a nice right hand that sends Fortier toppling to the canvas! Fortier scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Tower finish him?!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hercules Fortier's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Iain Tower!
Our winner, Iain Tower, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
