PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mika Allu (ranked 354 p4p, 50 weight class) and Yhorm Giant (ranked 230 p4p, 35 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mika Allu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yhorm Giant!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giant wants to land a leg kick but Allu is out of range.

Allu has managed to clinch.

Giant breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Giant walks into a jab.

Giant waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Allu. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Allu to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Mika Allu has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Allu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Allu is controlling Giant's posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Giant fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Allu manages to avoid it.
Allu chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Giant feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Allu's calf.

Allu throws a strike but Giant rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Giant wants to control from the top but Allu keeps moving.
Allu wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Giant not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Giant controlling from the top position.
Giant missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Giant lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Giant postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Allu pulls Giant in close to his closed guard and prevents Giant from doing any damage or advancing position.

Giant has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Giant stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Giant sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Allu to the ground! Giant dives into full mount looking to finish!

Allu is rocked!
Allu tries to hold on but Giant pushes him away.
Oh Allu is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Allu can't escape the position.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Giant postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Allu badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Giant around the waist but Giant pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Giant is the winner by TKO! Giant jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Yhorm Giant was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
