Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seb Sha (ranked 3380 p4p, 391 weight class) and Bill Goldberg (ranked 3080 p4p, 362 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Seb Sha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bill Goldberg!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldberg misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Goldberg misses with a left hand
and Sha counters with a nice uppercut.
Goldberg misses with an uppercut
and Sha counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Goldberg lands a jab to Sha's midsection.
Goldberg circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sha closes the distance but Goldberg moves to the side
and Goldberg makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Sha really felt that one!

It looked like Sha wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Sha seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Goldberg fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Sha is out of range.
Goldberg throws a head kick that misses.

Sha gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Sha tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

A bit of stalling here from Sha.
Sha tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Goldberg.
Sha prevents Goldberg from breaking the clinch.

Goldberg manages to break the clinch.
Sha tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Goldberg paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Goldberg throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sha sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sha swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Sha throws a series of punches but Goldberg avoids them all with ease.
Goldberg throws a right and a left that Sha avoids nicely.
Sha takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Goldberg slips under a jab.
Goldberg throws a leg kick that misses.

Sha darts in and clinches Goldberg up against the cage.

Goldberg manages to break the clinch.
Sha ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Goldberg misses with a combination

and Sha counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sha sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Goldberg's guard.

Sha throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Sha thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Goldberg's head.
Goldberg is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sha looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Sha trying to control the action but Goldberg is working from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Sha seems content to control.

Sha is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sha wants to take a breather but Goldberg is having none of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Sha tries to pass the half guard into mount. Goldberg knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Sha is stalling here. Goldberg is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Sha seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Goldberg has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Goldberg tries to stand but Sha is controlling his head.
Sha tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Goldberg wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Seb Sha will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Goldberg throws a lazy right hand but Sha sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sha gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Goldberg counters with a nice uppercut.
Goldberg misses with a hook. Sha ducked under it nicely.
Bill Goldberg seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Goldberg looks to land a left hand but Sha moved out of range nicely.
Sha lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Goldberg looks to throw a body kick
and Sha counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sha's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Goldberg connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sha scrambles back to his feet.
Goldberg throws a combination. Sha tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Goldberg misses with a wild combination.
As Goldberg backs away, Sha returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Sha lands with a good body shot.

Goldberg lets loose with a powerful body kick. Sha will feel that in the morning.
Goldberg connects with a right hand. Sha shakes it off.
Sha displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Goldberg throws out the jab.
A little feinted left hand from Sha on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Sha avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Goldberg misses with a straight right.
Goldberg dips to his left and cracks Sha with an uppercut!

Oooooh!!! Goldberg has knocked Sha down with a huge combo! Goldberg steps away and waves a wobbly Sha back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Seb Sha is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sha slips under a jab from Goldberg.
Sha tries to clinch there but Goldberg circles away.

Sha rushes Goldberg and presses him up against the cage.
Sha misses with a punch on the inside.
Sha is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Goldberg to keep the fight standing.

Goldberg escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Goldberg will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sha is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Goldberg.
Goldberg smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Sha misses with a few strikes there.
Sha takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Sha misses with a head kick.
Goldberg rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sha connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sha tests Goldberg's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bill Goldberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sha throws a wild body kick that Goldberg sees coming a mile off.
Goldberg swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Goldberg fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sha manages to avoid it.

Goldberg tries to land a front kick but Sha steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Sha went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Sha connects with a jab.
Goldberg misses with a double jab.
Goldberg throws a right and a left that both miss.

Sha darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Goldberg has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Sha is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Goldberg is controlling Sha's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Sha wants to take a breather but Goldberg is having none of it.

Sha seems to be working for a kimura but Goldberg defends the submission attempt.
Goldberg tries to kick Sha off but Sha keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Bill Goldberg showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Sha cracks Goldberg with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Sha counters with a good low kick that Goldberg was not able to check.

As Goldberg looks to move away, Sha throws a big counter combo but Goldberg just gets out of the way.
Goldberg fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sha looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Goldberg throws an overhand right that lands on Sha's shoulder, as Sha tries to avoid the shot.
Sha is looking for a counter combo.
Sha has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Goldberg finds it's way round the side to connect with Sha's head.
Goldberg stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sha.

I would just about give that final round to Bill Goldberg.
I think Goldberg has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
