Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jens Pulver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and randy hedderick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). hedderick has chosen check my swag as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hedderick feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Pulver's calf.

hedderick throws a leg kick which misses Pulver's front leg but catches the back leg as Pulver tries to avoid it.
hedderick connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pulver's hands.
hedderick keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Pulver throws a combination but it was largely blocked by hedderick.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pulver crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from hedderick - the referee stops the clock and Pulver gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says hedderick. Pulver manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Pulver stalks hedderick and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into hedderick's face. hedderick staggers backwards, shaken.
