The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hardman gets a takedown into half guard.

McGregor is looking to control Hardman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McGregor avoid being mounted?
Hardman thows a huge punch but McGregor dodges it nicely.
Hardman winds up and cracks McGregor with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hardman lands a nice short elbow.
Hardman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hardman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McGregor's head.

McGregor on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Hardman lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt McGregor quite badly. McGregor pulls Hardman in close trying to recover. Hardman postures up and lands two really hard shots that put McGregor on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but McGregor doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
