Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrison comes to the cage accompanied by Crossroads- Cream. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Harrison circles away from the clinch attempt.
Harrison shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jones is looking to clinch.
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Harrison is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Harrison circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice sprawl there from Harrison as Jones shoots in.

and Jones moves into the clinch.

Harrison has hold of one of Jones's legs. Jones is fighting the takedown attempt but Harrison gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Harrison shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Harrison is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily.
Harrison tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control.
Harrison is refusing to be controlled, as Jones sits in half guard.

Harrison looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Jones pushes past his half guard into mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

I looks like Jones might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Jones jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Harrison manages to avoid the submission attempt.

A close round but Ben Jones will probably get the nod.

Jones lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jones.
Harrison lands a nice hook to Jones's body. Jones takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jones in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Harrison gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Harrison slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Harrison is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Jones avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Harrison is trying to keep Jones in close.

Harrison doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Jones would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jones wants to clinch.
Harrison shoots and misses

and Jones counters with a nice double leg into side control. Harrison won't be happy with that.

Harrison wants to control but Jones postures up.
Jones wants to stand but Harrison has his arm trapped.
Harrison is pushing Jones's head away, looking to escape. Jones manages to hold on to the position though.

Ben Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Harrison's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Jones changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Harrison looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Harrison is looking for a sweep.
Jones tries to stand but Harrison is controlling his head.
Harrison gets back to half guard.
Harrison keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Jones working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Harrison manages to get to full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jones's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Harrison looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jones has picked Harrison up and slammed him! Harrison can't keep hold of the triangle and Jones manages to pass to side control!
Jones takes a little break here. Harrison wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Jones stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Ben Jones has got the better of the ground game so far.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Harrison is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Harrison looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jones has picked Harrison up and slammed him! Harrison can't keep hold of the triangle and Jones manages to pass to side control!

Jones pushes Harrison up against the cage in a clinch.

Harrison can't get the takedown.
Jones misses with a knee to the head.
Gunner Harrison has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Harrison jumps guard but Jones stands there with Harrison around his waist. Harrison gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Harrison wants to break free but Jones has control.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Harrison tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Harrison manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ben Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Ben Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jones winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
