Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Prado (ranked 6056 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kubrat Pulev (ranked 6566 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prado pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pulev tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Pulev fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Prado to the ground. Pulev is now in Prado's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prado wants to sweep here but Pulev controlling him for the moment.
Pulev slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Prado jumps guard and drags Pulev to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Prado wants to sweep but no luck.
Pulev wants to stand and escape but instead Prado has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Pulev closes this distance looking for a takedown but Prado circles away.
Pulev shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Prado but Prado pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Prado throws a big counter combination but Pulev scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Fernando Prado has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kubrat Pulev.

Prado closes the distance and pushes Pulev back into the cage.

Prado is trying to trip Pulev. He has hold of a leg but Pulev is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Prado persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Prado is trying to control. Pulev wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Prado is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pulev defends it well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A looping hook to the body misses from Prado. Pulev does a little dance to reset his feet.

Pulev shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Pulev was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Prado has his feet on Pulev's thighs here. He's pushed Pulev off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Pulev screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
