Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Kush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jmm Nidargo!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nidargo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kush, pushing him back against the cage.

Nidargo manages to break the clinch.
Kush misses with a few strikes there.
Nidargo moves in looking to clinch but Kush pushes him off.

Kush drops Nidargo with a beautiful combination! Nidargo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kush is looking for the KO!


It looks like Jmm Nidargo has been cut.
Kush misses with a two punch combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kush throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Nidargo on the side of the head.


Nidargo is rocked!
Kush tries a head kick but it misses.
Nidargo is still on wobbly legs! Can Kush finish him?
Nidargo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kush throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nidargo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Nidargo seems to have recovered his senses.
Kush pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kush defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nidargo.
Kush swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Nidargo throws a sloppy head kick and Kush moves out of range easily.
Nidargo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kush paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nidargo scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kush in his tracks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nidargo dodges the punch combination from Kush.
Kush connects with the punch.
Nidargo blocks a low kick nicely.
Kush throws a head kick that misses.
Nice takedown defense from Kush. No joy for Nidargo on that attempt.
Jason Kush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jmm Nidargo.
Kush just misses with a punch to the body.
Kush looks to throw the jab but Nidargo is out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nidargo.
Kush misses with a straight left.
Kush cracks Nidargo with a right hand to the side of the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kush keeps the fight on the outside.
Nidargo is looking to clinch.
Kush ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nidargo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kush avoids it really well and circles away.
Kush was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Nidargo looks winded!
Kush misses with a head kick.
Kush is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nidargo.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Nidargo! But no joy.
Nidargo wants to clinch
and Kush counters with a stiff right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nidargo tries to clinch up.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Nidargo.
Nidargo fails with the takedown.
It looked like Kush wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Oooooh!!! Kush has knocked Nidargo down with a huge combo! Kush steps away and waves a wobbly Nidargo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
A slow jab from Kush misses its intended target.
Kush cracks Nidargo with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Nidargo tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Kush pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Nidargo is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Kush!
After the fight, Jason Kush was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
