Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tj White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamie Hedger!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Hedger misses
and White connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hedger has his takedown stuffed
and White counters with a stiff right hand.
Hedger throws a sloppy head kick and White moves out of range easily.
It looked like White was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Hedger.
Hedger throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hedger throws a head kick but White moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hedger fails with the takedown
and White counters with a nice uppercut.

Hedger fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging White to the ground. Hedger is now in White's guard.

Hedger stops White from standing up.
Hedger stands and throws White's legs to the side, diving into side control.
White wants to get back to his feet but Hedger drags him back down.
White trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

White is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hedger is controlling him well.
Hedger works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
White knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hedger on the ground.
White wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Hedger wants to lay and pray for a moment but White keeps working.

Hedger is putting a hurting on White here, landing some big shots from side control.
Hedger has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
