Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pradak Kingstar (ranked 2470 p4p, 279 weight class) and Brandin Duncan (ranked 2457 p4p, 276 weight class). The key to victory for Pradak Kingstar has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pradak Kingstar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Brandin Duncan!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingstar scores with a jab.
Sloppy strikes from Kingstar. Those never looked like landing.
Kingstar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Duncan.
Kingstar shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Duncan eats them both and turns towards Kingstar to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Kingstar looks to land a left hand but Duncan moved out of range nicely.
Kingstar bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Duncan's head backwards.
Kingstar fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
We've been told by Kingstar's head coaches at Iron mikes mma that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Duncan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kingstar throws a right and a left that Duncan avoids nicely.
Duncan feints the counter takedown.
Duncan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Duncan avoids the body shot from Kingstar.
Duncan tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Kingstar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Duncan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kingstar to score with a decent uppercut.
Kingstar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Duncan was well out of range. Poor timing from Kingstar.
Duncan changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Pradak Kingstar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kingstar just misses with a punch to the body.
Duncan has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Kingstar bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Duncan's head.
Kingstar throws a left and a right that both miss

and Duncan counters with a shoot takedown. Kingstar fights it but they end up in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kingstar had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Duncan defends it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kingstar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Duncan's guard.

Kingstar wants to control from the top but Duncan keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Duncan can't keep his opponent in guard - Kingstar advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kingstar is controlling the pace.
Kingstar tries to pass to full mount but Duncan defends it.

Duncan looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Kingstar is working for a submission of some sort.
Duncan works his way to full guard. Good work.

Duncan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kingstar is aware though and is defending well.
Duncan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kingstar stands and throws Duncan's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Duncan tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Kingstar thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Kingstar tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Kingstar has hold of Duncan's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Duncan tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kingstar cranks the arm and Duncan screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Duncan, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Pradak Kingstar!
