Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Koala Bare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chopper Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chopper Reid will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Koala Bare!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chopper Reid!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Reid rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bare moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Bare feints and as Reid raises his hands in defense, Bare changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Reid keeping moving, preventing Bare from controlling successfully.
Reid is wriggling around but Bare manages to pass to half guard.
Bare wants to control but Reid is keeping him busy.
Bare is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bare's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Reid is defending against the submission attempts here by Bare.
Bare is looking to take a break and control but Reid is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Reid kicks off Bare and gets to his feet.
Bare shoots in looking for a takedown. Reid tries to sprawl out of it but Bare keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reid manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bare has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Bare shoots in but Reid avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Reid fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bare.
Bare shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Koala Bare. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Reid feints and then cracks Bare's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bare down.
Reid scores with a jab.
Reid fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bare on the side of the head.
A chopping leg kick lands by Reid.
Bare is breathing heavily.
Bare takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Reid lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bare circles away quickly and effectively.
Bare has a takedown stuffed.
Nice takedown defense from Reid. No joy for Bare on that attempt.
Bare walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Reid connects with a solid leg kick.
Chopper Reid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reid drops Bare with a right and a left! Reid comes rushing in but Bare regains his composure and manages to keep Reid in guard.

Bare is rocked!

Reid gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Oh Bare is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Reid lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Bare can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Reid and Bare drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Reid.
