Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stewie Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Corvette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin comes to the cage accompanied by The Ride. Corvette is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pulp Fiction Theme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nathan Corvette!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin needs to keep his hands up - Corvette had a free shot at his head there.
Griffin gets the takedown into side control.
Griffin stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Corvette stuffs the takedown attempt from Griffin. Griffin gets slowly back to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Griffin.
Corvette tries a head kick but it misses.
Corvette moves into the clinch successfully.
Griffin tries for a takedown but Corvette manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stewie Griffin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A left hand lands to the body for Corvette.
Griffin tries to throw a body punch but Corvette avoids it by throwing Griffin back against the cage.
Corvette escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Griffin shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Griffin is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Griffin stalling.
Corvette is pressing down on Griffin's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Griffin wants to control from the top but Corvette keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Griffin won't allow Corvette to get back to his feet.
Corvette is looking for a triangle but Griffin pushes his legs off easily.
Corvette bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Griffin's guard.
Corvette has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Griffin is proving hard to escape from.
Griffin wants to stand and escape but Corvette is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Griffin has a closed guard, preventing Corvette from standing up.
Corvette in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Corvette trying to stand up but can't free himself from Griffin's guard.
Griffin keeping moving, preventing Corvette from controlling successfully.
Corvette stands up and waves to Griffin to follow him.
Corvette goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Corvette, as that shot connected.
Corvette drops Griffin with a right and a left! Corvette comes rushing in but Griffin regains his composure and manages to keep Corvette in guard.
Griffin is rocked!
Corvette decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Oh Griffin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Griffin takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Corvette circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Griffin drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Corvette follows Griffin to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nathan Corvette!
