The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordo with a lazy takedown attempt
and Ferguson counters with a left to the body.
Gordo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ferguson connects with the punch.
Gordo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ferguson as he avoids it easily.

Gordo shoots in and drives through. Ferguson sprawls well.
We've been told by Ferguson's head coaches at Panda Sprawl n Brawl that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Riley Ferguson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddy Gordo.

Ferguson has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Gordo is on him like a limpet, forcing Ferguson back against the cage.
Ferguson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gordo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ferguson tries to avoid it but Gordo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ferguson to the ground. Ferguson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gordo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ferguson lands a jab to Gordo's midsection.
Gordo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gordo shoots in looking for a takedown. Ferguson tries to sprawl out of it but Gordo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ferguson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gordo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ferguson sprawls well. Ferguson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gordo gets slowly back to his feet.
Ferguson cracks Gordo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ferguson cracks Gordo with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Gordo falls to his knees and Ferguson doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Riley Ferguson!
