Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brad Brunswick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Reny!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brunswick takes the fight into the clinch.

It looks like Nick Reny has been cut.
Brunswick definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Reny misses with some punches.
Reny with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Still in the clinch, Brunswick scores with a nice short uppercut.
Reny misses with the head strike.
Brunswick is leaning against Reny and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Brunswick makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Brunswick working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Brunswick lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Reny backwards.


Reny is rocked!
Reny fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Brunswick creates a bit of space and cracks Reny with an uppercut that drops him to the canvas! Reny is wobbled and seems to be struggling to get back to his feet. 3,4,5. He's up! Phew, his manager will be relieved but they're no doubt wondering whether he'll be able to recover properly and get back in the fight!
Reny is still on wobbly legs! Can Brunswick finish him?


That has opened up Nick Reny's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brunswick has closed the distance and engaged Reny in a clinch.
Reny seems to have recovered his senses.
Reny with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Brunswick works on Reny's body with a couple of short punches.
Reny looks winded!
Brunswick lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Reny.
Brunswick works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Brunswick is working Reny over against the ropes.
Brunswick lands a hook to the side of the head.
A short body shot lands from Brunswick as the two fighters clinch.
Brunswick working some nice short punches in the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brunswick lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Brunswick creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Reny crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5, yes, he's made it back to his feet. He seems OK so it looks like we're going to continue!

Brunswick drives through and clinches with Reny against the ropes.

Brunswick breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Reny with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Reny looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Reny get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? Yes, he's struggled back up to his feet and seems OK to continue. The referee agrees so we're back to the action!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Brunswick closes the distance and pushes Reny back into the ropes.
Brunswick scores with a shoulder strike.
Brunswick lands a left hand.


The cut above Nick Reny's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Brunswick creates a bit of distance and cracks Reny with a big uppercut! Reny goes down! The referee pushes Brunswick away into a neutral corner and starts the count. 4,5,6,7. Will Reny make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Brunswick takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Brad Brunswick!
Brad Brunswick looked relieved post fight as he said the following; ' Thanks to Condemned and Urban Fighter for sponsoring me!! Now I have someone to call out. Vernon Wells, sign the contract!!! I want my title shot!!!'.
