Perez manages to pull guard.
Wieneke tries to free his leg and advance position but Perez is retaining full guard.
Wieneke is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Wieneke drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wieneke jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Perez wants to sweep here but Wieneke controlling him for the moment.
Perez controls Wieneke momentarily but Wieneke frees himself.
Perez looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Wieneke is defending well. Perez quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Wieneke has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Perez celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
