The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Thomas takes one on the button.
Thomas takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A cross from Fury lands.
Thomas throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Fury pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thomas looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Jake Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fury lands with a nice body punch.
Fury jabs Thomas right on the nose. Thomas blinks but takes it well.
Fury tries a head kick but it misses.
Thomas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fury but Fury pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fury throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Thomas.
Thomas tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fury throws a head kick but Thomas moves out of range.
Fury lands a high kick!

Thomas shoots for a takedown but Fury saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Fury throws a leg kick which misses Thomas's front leg but catches the back leg as Thomas tries to avoid it.
Thomas fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fury throws a head kick that Thomas semi-blocks.

Thomas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Thomas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thomas is breathing heavily.
Thomas blocks a head kick by Fury.
Fury turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A head kick from Fury lands but Thomas takes it in his stride.
Fury keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Fury thumps Thomas with a low kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Fury darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Good leg kick by Fury there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fury lands a head kick. Thomas smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Fury connects with a high kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Thomas is rocked!
Thomas stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Fury.
Oh Thomas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BOOM! Fury lands a beautiful left hook that drops Thomas. Thomas tries to recover but Fury is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Thomas lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
