Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jon Bog (ranked 4603 p4p, 231 weight class) and Stefan Pedzel (ranked 4613 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stefan Pedzel!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pedzel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bog shoots in looking for a takedown but Pedzel manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bog's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bog looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Pedzel gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Pedzel has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bog uses from the top position.
Pedzel bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bog's guard.

Pedzel is working Bog over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pedzel slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Bog really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bog knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pedzel on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pedzel makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Pedzel tries to bum rush Bog with a series of wild strikes but Bog uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bog wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Pedzel is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bog knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pedzel takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Bog actively working from the bottom here.
Pedzel looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stefan Pedzel dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Pedzel has closed the distance and engaged Bog in a clinch.
Bog fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Pedzel shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bog is trying to defend but Pedzel finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bog is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pedzel pulls his head out easily.

Pedzel maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Bog could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Pedzel has cracked it and Bog is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Pedzel!
