Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bosse Grepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson's entrance music is Franklin's Theme Song. A fine choice. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bosse Grepp!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a shot from downtown. Grepp moves away and avoids it.
Grepp shoots in and bounces Jackson off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Grepp preventing the sweep.
Grepp trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom.

Grepp thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Jackson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Jackson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Grepp controls the pace.

Grepp wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
Jackson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Grepp changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Jackson tries to buck Grepp off but Grepp is having none of it.
Jackson tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Jackson misses with a strike from the bottom.
Jackson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Jackson is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Grepp pulls his head out easily.

Jackson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jackson.
Grepp wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jackson is looking for a sweep.
Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jackson is breathing heavily.
Grepp looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Grepp slows the pace down.

Jackson misses with a strike from the bottom.
Grepp avoids the strikes from the bottom by Jackson.
Grepp wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackson keeps working.
Jackson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Grepp keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Jackson won't allow Grepp to pass to mount.
Grepp is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jackson is just riding it out for now. Grepp eventually gives up the hold.

Jackson tries to roll over but Grepp keeps him under control.
Jackson flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Grepp is keen to just control but Jackson is a slippery customer.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Grepp forces his way into half guard.
Grepp wants to take a breather but Jackson is having none of it.

Grepp is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jackson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Jackson misses with a kick to the body.
A head kick misses from Jackson.
Jackson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Bosse Grepp has been cut.
Grepp takes a kick to the side of the head.
Franklin Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Grepp shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackson sprawls well. He's pushed Grepp's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Franklin Jackson will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Bosse Grepp's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jackson throws a series of punches but Grepp moves out of range.
Grepp fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Franklin Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grepp feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jackson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Grepp passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Jackson is being controlled here.
Grepp working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Grepp is working to tighten is grip on Jackson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Jackson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Grepp is really squeezing tight and eventually Jackson passes out! Grepp breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
