Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prusel Gammarix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gammarix has chosen Punttisali as his entrance music. Jimbo Slice has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Slice looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Gammarix shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Slice's guard.
Gammarix must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Gammarix is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Slice had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gammarix is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Slice Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gammarix's back instead.

Gammarix really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slice. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

It looks like Jimbo Slice has been cut.

Gammarix tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Slice just stands there and leans against the ropes.

Gammarix is looking to take a break and control but Slice is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Gammarix swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Slice has his foot on Gammarix's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gammarix works his way back into a safe position though.

Slice will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gammarix accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Slice takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Gammarix keeps Slice at a distance using the push kick.
Gammarix misses with an uppercut. Slice saw that one coming.

Slice slips a jab and a cross from Gammarix.
Gammarix throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Slice takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Slice tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gammarix tries for a takedown but Slice sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gammarix tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Slice was well out of range. Poor timing from Gammarix.

Prusel Gammarix showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Jimbo Slice's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
