Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jackson Fonseca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maximus Frost!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fonseca throws a head kick that misses.
Frost connects with a body shot.

Frost misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Frost counters with a shoot takedown. Fonseca fights it but they end up in guard.
Frost wants to pass the guard but Fonseca is keeping the position.

Frost must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

and Frost decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fonseca's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Fonseca is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Frost really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fonseca. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Frost stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fonseca swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Maximus Frost dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Frost misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Frost takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A combination from Frost does no damage.
Frost swinging wilding here.
Fonseca sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Frost to the ground! Fonseca dives into full mount looking to finish!


It looks like Maximus Frost has been cut.

Fonseca swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Frost is now in Fonseca's guard. A big mistake from Fonseca there, giving up the dominant position!

Fonseca is looking to sinch up a triangle. Frost throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Fonseca's body to avoid the submission. Fonseca has instead reached around Frost's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Fonseca arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
