The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flourington changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jahic tries to avoid it but Flourington manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jahic to the ground. Jahic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jahic feinted with a counter takedown.
Flourington throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Jahic tries to counter with a takedown but Flourington is quick to defend against it.
Jahic stuffs the takedown.
Flourington shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jahic pinned against the cage. Jahic gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jahic tries to pull guard but Flourington forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Flourington smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Flourington feints a jab promting Jahic to slip. Flourington then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jahic slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Flourington throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jahic attempts a counter takedown but Flourington avoids it well and moves away.
Jacob Flourington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Flourington digs a right hand into Jahic's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Jahic's gas tank.
