Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vic Sotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muhammed Muhammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Muhammed's choice of entrance music: Smooth Criminal Saudi edition. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Muhammed lunges at Sotto with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sotto's hand.

Sotto sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Muhammed closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sotto to the mat! Sotto manages to get full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Muhammed passes to side control.

Sotto wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Muhammed thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Sotto sneaks back into half guard.
Muhammed passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Sotto!
Muhammed is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sotto can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Muhammed shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Muhammed won't let Sotto get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
A big strike lands for Muhammed! That's really hurt Sotto and he's turned his back - Muhammed keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Muhammed Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
