Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Fox (ranked 2482 p4p, 283 weight class) and Douglas Dannis (ranked 2484 p4p, 284 weight class). Douglas Dannis will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dannis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fox swivels and escapes.
Dannis moves out of range of the body kick.
Dannis throws out a counter right but Fox avoids it with no problem.
Fox lands a nice looking body kick.
Dannis looks to score with a jab to the body but Fox is just out of range.
Dannis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Fox lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Dannis might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Fox has got the better of the exchanges.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Fox enables Dannis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fox manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Dannis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fox swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fox, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
