Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shay O Donnelly (ranked 564 p4p, 70 weight class) and Daniel Barbosa (ranked 1378 p4p, 173 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniel Barbosa!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Donnelly takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
O Donnelly looks to land a right hand but Barbosa moved out of range.
Shay O Donnelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
O Donnelly stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Barbosa tries to clinch up.
Barbosa ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Some wild striking there from Barbosa.
Barbosa comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
O Donnelly throws a right and a left that both miss.
Barbosa slips a straight right by O Donnelly.
Barbosa misses with a few strikes there.

O Donnelly scores with a one two! Barbosa had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
O Donnelly takes a swing at Barbosa's ribcage but misses.
Barbosa tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
O Donnelly misses with a hook.
Barbosa fails in his attempt to clinch.

Barbosa throws a punch but it's blocked by O Donnelly.
O Donnelly blocks a body shot from Barbosa.
O Donnelly tries to throw a body punch but Barbosa avoids it by throwing O Donnelly back against the cage.

O Donnelly blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

A body shot lands from Barbosa.

Barbosa jumps guard but O Donnelly turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Shay O Donnelly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Barbosa.

Barbosa is looking to control O Donnelly's arms but O Donnelly gets an underhook and turns him. Now Barbosa has his back to the cage.
Barbosa tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Barbosa throws a head punch that misses.
Barbosa is trying to pull guard but O Donnelly has him pressed against the cage.
O Donnelly wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Barbosa gets control of O Donnelly's arms and successfully pulls guard. Barbosa will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

O Donnelly has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
O Donnelly has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Barbosa is proving hard to escape from.
Barbosa is looking to cinch up a triangle. O Donnelly throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Barbosa's body to avoid the submission. Barbosa has instead reached around O Donnelly's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Barbosa arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
