The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Rampatan as Beachgon shoots in.
Rampatan appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Beachgon misses with a takedown attempt
letting Rampatan counter with a right hand.
Rampatan connects with a body shot that sends Beachgon's belly button to the back.
Beachgon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Beachgon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rampatan throws out a loose jab but Beachgon uses good head movement to avoid it.

Beachgon moves into the clinch successfully.
Rampatan dodges an elbow strike from Beachgon.

Beachgon pushes Rampatan up against the cage in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Beachgon takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Rampatan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Beachgon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rampatan.

Beachgon lands with an uppercut that bounces Rampatan off the cage and back into range.

Beachgon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rampatan pinned against the cage. Rampatan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Xebastian Rampatan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Doadan Beachgon.

We've been told by Rampatan's head coaches at Cozad Amsterdam that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Rampatan lands a really nice looking cross but Beachgon seems unphased.

Beachgon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rampatan throws a lazy right hand but Beachgon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Beachgon unleashes a big counter combination but Rampatan bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Rampatan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Beachgon tries to move into range but Rampatan moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Beachgon is rocked!
Beachgon leaves his chin hanging out and Rampatan seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Beachgon crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
