Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pasha Pedikov (ranked 4080 p4p, 406 weight class) and Barnito Mustacho (ranked 3374 p4p, 346 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pasha Pedikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Barnito Mustacho!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pedikov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mustacho scores with a jab to the head.
Mustacho scores with a nice body kick.
Mustacho throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pedikov.
Pedikov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mustacho connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pedikov scrambles back to his feet.
Pedikov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mustacho chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Mustacho fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Horrible takedown attempt by Pedikov or perhaps it was just good defense by Mustacho, which made it look bad.

and Mustacho counters with a good, hard body kick but Pedikov shrugs it off.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pasha Pedikov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mustacho ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Pedikov is breathing heavily.
Mustacho cracks Pedikov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Mustacho connects with an inside leg kick.
Pedikov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Pedikov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mustacho keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Mustacho lands a head shot.
Mustacho drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Pedikov right on the button. Pedikov goes down! Mustacho follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Mustacho gets the win via TKO!
