Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Danny Wood (ranked 1771 p4p, 190 weight class) and Charlie Patch (ranked 4782 p4p, 380 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wood might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Notorious B.I.G - Hypnotyze. Danny Wood could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Charlie Patch's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Wood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Patch!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patch tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wood sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Patch somewhat.
Patch pushes Wood up against the cage in a clinch.
Patch tries to pull guard but Wood forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Patch jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wood walks away with a smile on his face. Patch gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Danny Wood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Patch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Patch tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wood swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Patch has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Charlie Patch has been cut.
Wood throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wood throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Patch colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Wood as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Patch is left battered and dazed whilst Wood and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Danny Wood!
In his post fight interview, Danny Wood started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
