Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Domonic Dilbrandt (ranked 681 p4p, 38 weight class) and Sami Steele (ranked 1542 p4p, 90 weight class). Dilbrandt comes to the cage accompanied by The Champ is Here. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Domonic Dilbrandt!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sami Steele!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Steele.
Steele takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Steele scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Steele catches Dilbrandt with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Dilbrandt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Steele moves away.
Dilbrandt lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Dilbrandt moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Steele swings widly with a right hand
and Dilbrandt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dilbrandt throws an overhand right that lands on Steele's shoulder, as Steele tries to avoid the shot.
Dilbrandt lands a really nice looking cross but Steele seems unphased.
Steele has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dilbrandt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Steele on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Steele throws a hook to the side of Dilbrandt's head but Dilbrandt sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Steele throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Steele misses with a lunging right hand
and Dilbrandt counters with a good, hard body kick but Steele shrugs it off.
A jab from Steele misses.
Dilbrandt takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Dilbrandt throws a front kick aimed at Steele's knee but Steele avoids it well.
A head kick misses from Steele.
Dilbrandt throws a head kick that half lands.

Steele is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dilbrandt gets in close and tags Steele with a short punch that almost sends Steele to the mat! Oh Steele is in big trouble! He turns his back on Dilbrandt, trying to create some distance but Dilbrandt rushes him, striking wildly and Steele goes down! The referee tackles Dilbrandt into the cage to end the fight! Dilbrandt is one violent man!

Domonic Dilbrandt really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Arcticus University: London logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
