Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brent Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Schiknsi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brent Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Schiknsi!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schiknsi lands with a nice body punch.
Williams changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Schiknsi tries to avoid it but Williams manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Schiknsi to the ground. Schiknsi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Williams tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Schiknsi swivels and escapes.
Williams lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Schiknsi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Williams manages to avoid it.

Schiknsi has closed the distance and engaged Williams in a clinch.

Williams's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Schiknsi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Williams lands a with a good body shot.

Schiknsi has taken the fight to the clinch.

Williams gets control of Schiknsi's arms and successfully pulls guard. Williams will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Schiknsi advances position into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schiknsi grinds an elbow into Williams's temple.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Schiknsi tries to score with some ground and pound. Williams controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Schiknsi cracks Williams with a big right hand but Williams just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Williams is not content to let Schiknsi control the position.
Williams is looking to regain half guard here but Schiknsi keeps moving and retains side control.

Schiknsi goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Williams has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Schiknsi but great work by Williams.
Schiknsi is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Williams escapes and gets back to his feet.
Williams shoots for a takedown but Schiknsi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brent Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Schiknsi moves into the clinch.
Williams has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Schiknsi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Schiknsi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Schiknsi thows a huge punch but Williams dodges it nicely.
Williams is refusing to be controlled, as Schiknsi sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Schiknsi wants to free his trapped foot but Williams is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Williams has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Schiknsi is working away from the top position though.

Schiknsi wants to work for an arm triangle but Williams is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Schiknsi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Williams is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Schiknsi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Williams is looking to regain half guard here but Schiknsi keeps moving and retains side control.

Horrible takedown by Schiknsi or perhaps it was just good defense by Williams which made him look bad.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Schiknsi pulls Williams in close to prevent any damage.

Schiknsi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Williams doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Williams manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Williams is fighting off a takedown attempt but Schiknsi is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Williams to the mat. Williams regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Igor Schiknsi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Schiknsi not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

I've got Schiknsi winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
