Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between The Matrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Mok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Matrix has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mok takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Mok has his foot on Matrix's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Matrix works his way back into a safe position though.

Mok fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Matrix sprawls well initially but Mok persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Matrix throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mok.
Matrix digs a good body shot into Mok's ribs.
Matrix works Mok's body with a nice hook.
Matrix turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mok walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Matrix scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Matrix throws a head kick that half lands.
Matrix fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Matrix throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Matrix bucks up and tries to throw Mok off but instead Mok has got his back!

Julio Mok has got the better of the ground game so far.

Mok working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Matrix is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Mok has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Matrix taps out!
