Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Troy Hooper (ranked 790 p4p, 108 weight class) and Jackson Boone (ranked 1012 p4p, 133 weight class). Boone is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Violeta. Jackson Boone struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hooper steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Boone.
Boone bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hooper definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Hooper throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boone swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

and Hooper counters with a single leg into guard. Boone didn't expect that.
Hooper lands a couple of digs.
Hooper distracts Boone with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Boone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hooper defends it easily.
