Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vikram Jinderson (ranked 4716 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Santos (ranked 3853 p4p, 0 weight class). Jinderson comes to the cage accompanied by Tunak Tunak Tan. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vikram Jinderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bo Santos!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Santos darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The fighters circling - Santos throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Santos throws a series of punches but Jinderson moves out of range.
Jinderson is looking to counter the offense by Santos and move into the clinch.
Santos throws a body shot but no joy.
Santos throws a jab when Jinderson was well out of range.
Jinderson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Santos tries to keep at a distance but Jinderson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jinderson is trying to stall.
Santos has had enough of the clinch but Jinderson keeps him there for the moment.

Santos jumps guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Santos looking for a guillotine here but Jinderson defends easily.

Santos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jinderson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jinderson trying to control the position from guard on top but Santos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Santos pulls Jinderson in close to prevent any damage.

Santos is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jinderson is aware though and is defending well.
Jinderson wants to control from the top but Santos keeps moving.

Santos looking for a guillotine here but Jinderson defends easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Santos is trying to keep Jinderson in close.

Santos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jinderson defends well.
Jinderson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Santos is trying to control the position but Jinderson postures up.

Santos is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Santos is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jinderson is aware though and is defending well.

Santos wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Jinderson is now in half guard.
Jinderson trying to control the action but Santos is working from the bottom.
Jinderson is thwarting Santos's attempts to control the position.
Jinderson uses his free foot to push down on Santos's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Santos.
Santos regains half guard.
Jinderson is looking to take a break and control but Santos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Santos is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Santos is still trying to improve position.
Santos gets back to full guard.
Jinderson wanted to stand there but Santos had control of the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jinderson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Santos can do anything to dispel that myth.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Santos is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Santos drives through with a takedown into guard.
Santos sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jinderson's guard.
Santos prevents Jinderson from standing back up.
Jinderson is looking to get back to full guard here but Santos has managed to pass to side control instead.
Santos tries to move to mount but Jinderson blocks the move with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Santos is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Jinderson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Jinderson prevents Santos from moving into mount.
Santos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jinderson keeps working.
Santos takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Jinderson to pass into mount.
Santos looking to control but Jinderson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Santos goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jinderson turns into him and now he's in Santos's guard.

Jinderson wants to control from the top but Santos keeps moving.

Santos is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jinderson is aware though and is defending well.

Jinderson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Santos, up you get!

Jinderson moves out of range of the strikes.
Vikram Jinderson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Jinderson pushes Santos up against the cage in a clinch.
Jinderson wants a takedown but no success here.
Jinderson is trying to stall.
Santos lands a shoulder strike.
Jinderson tries to work over Santos's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Jinderson wants to get back to striking at distance but Santos won't allow it.
Jinderson is looking to control Santos's arms but Santos gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jinderson has his back to the cage.
Santos is trying to break the clinch but Jinderson has him pressed against the cage.
Jinderson is working for takedown but Santos is calmly controlling the position for now.

Santos prevents Jinderson from breaking the clinch.

Santos has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jinderson uses from the top position.
Santos is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Jinderson postures up in Santos's guard and throws a big left but Santos blocks it.

Bo Santos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Jinderson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jinderson.
A little jabbing left from Santos on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Santos has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jinderson regains guard immediately.
Santos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Santos won't allow Jinderson to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Santos stands and throws Jinderson's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Jinderson wants to control but Santos postures up.

Santos tries to move to mount but Jinderson blocks the move with his legs.
Jinderson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Jinderson is not content to let Santos control the position.

Santos is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Santos is trying to work for a kimura but Jinderson is defending well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Santos trying to mount his opponent but Jinderson defends it.
Jinderson wants to get back to his feet.

Santos is looking to take a break and control but Jinderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Santos looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Santos misses with a straight left.
Jinderson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Santos has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Santos misses the shot to the body.

It looked like Jinderson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Santos stuffs the takedown.
Santos throws a jab but it's blocked by Jinderson.
Jinderson half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Santos jabbing away but nothing is landing.
The crowd cheers as Santos lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jinderson doesn't seem phased though.
Santos might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Santos is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jinderson.

Jinderson moves into range and clinches up with Santos.
Santos is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Jinderson lands a body shot in the clinch.
Santos is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Santos is defending well against a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vikram Jinderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jinderson keeps control of Santos as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Jinderson jumps guard but Santos turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Jinderson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Santos fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Vikram Jinderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bo Santos is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Santos keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

I've got Santos winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
