Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Devon Giguere (ranked 4296 p4p, 357 weight class) and Sean O Sullivan (ranked 3582 p4p, 318 weight class). Giguere comes to the cage accompanied by Protect Ya Neck - Wu Tang. O Sullivan has chosen Tool - Invincible as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Sullivan tests Giguere's chin there with a solid looking shot.
O Sullivan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
O Sullivan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
O Sullivan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Giguere wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
O Sullivan swings and misses with a hook to the body.

A quick step to the side and Giguere tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's time! Giguere's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

O Sullivan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Giguere looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

O Sullivan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

O Sullivan gets control of Giguere's arms and successfully pulls guard. O Sullivan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Giguere will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
