The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bailey shoots in and bounces Alois off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bailey forces his way into half guard.

Bailey is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Bailey controlling the pace.

Alois tries to kick Bailey off but Bailey keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Bailey trying to control the action but Alois is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Alois wants to clinch up but Bailey keeps it at a distance.
Bailey takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Alois moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


It looks like Bob Bailey has been cut.
Stafford Alois seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alois misses with a jab, cross combination.

Bailey is breathing heavily.

Alois gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Alois is trying to break the clinch but Bailey has him pressed against the cage.

Bailey fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Alois escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Alois wants to clinch up but Bailey keeps it at a distance.

Alois lands with a slapping head kick.

Bob Bailey's cut is getting worse.
Alois thuds his shin into the meat of Bailey's side.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
No luck for Bailey with that takedown attempt.
Stafford Alois is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Alois throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Alois tries to clinch but Bailey is having none of it.
Alois lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Alois drives through and clinches with Bailey against the cage.

Alois is looking to break free of the clinch but Bailey has double underhooks.
Bailey tries to pull guard but Alois won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Bailey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bailey has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Alois is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bailey jumps guard but Alois stands there with Bailey around his waist. Bailey gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Alois wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Alois is trying to break the clinch but Bailey has him pressed against the cage.

Alois's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Alois tries to clinch but Bailey moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stafford Alois dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Bob Bailey's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Alois closes the distance and clinches.

Bailey jumps guard and drags Alois to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Alois tries to stand but Bailey is controlling from the bottom.

Alois is sitting in close to Bailey's body. Bailey has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Alois is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Alois is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Bailey.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Bob Bailey!
