Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kristofsson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Karlson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Karlson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kristofsson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Karlson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kristofsson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Karlson's guard! Nice work there by Kristofsson!
Karlson wants to sweep here but Kristofsson controlling him for the moment.
Karlson pulls Kristofsson in to control the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Karlson is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kristofsson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Karlson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Karlson drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Karlson as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Kristofsson screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Karlson! Nice submission victory there!
