The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Linkke is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Linkke circles away and we're back to standing.
Roller Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Linkke as Gracie shoots in.
Horst Linkke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roller Gracie.
Linkke drops his shoulder and cracks Gracie with a huge uppercut! Gracie goes down! Can Linkke finish him?

It looks like Roller Gracie has been cut.

Linkke avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gracie looking for a sweep. Not yet Gracie, not yet.
Gracie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Linkke is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Linkke has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Linkke gets to his feet - Gracie follows without any prompting.
Linkke throws a big shot that misses.
Gracie staying out of range there.
Linkke slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gracie walks straight into a right hand from Linkke - that's dropped him! Linkke jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Gracie from any more punishment! Gracie complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
