Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Agid Antaris (ranked 4795 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doods Bootan (ranked 4716 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antaris lands with a kick to the temple. Bootan shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Antaris fails with a takedown attempt.
Bootan changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Despite the aggression on Bootan's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Bootan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Antaris to the mat! Antaris manages to get full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Antaris shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bootan but Bootan pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Antaris jumps guard but Bootan stands there with Antaris around his waist. Antaris gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Bootan dives in and grabs Antaris's left leg, looking for a takedown. Antaris pushes down on Bootan's head and hops out.

That's time! Antaris's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Bootan tries to close the distance and clinch but Antaris swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

It looked like Antaris was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Bootan.

Bootan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Antaris's guard.
Antaris pulls Bootan in close to his closed guard and prevents Bootan from doing any damage or advancing position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Antaris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bootan on the ground.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
