Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Francisco Barraca (ranked 4680 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tek Dog (ranked 4679 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tek Dog!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barraca tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dog defends well and Barraca ends up having to push Dog into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Dog tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Barraca rushes Dog and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Dog should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Barraca goes for a takedown attempt but Dog pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Barraca forces Dog back against the cage and clinches.

Dog pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Barraca tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dog swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jab, jab by Dog - just one landing.


It looks like Francisco Barraca has been cut.
Barraca darts in looking for a takedown but Dog gets double underhooks and turns Barraca into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Francisco Barraca. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Barraca shoots in for a double leg but Dog sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Barraca leaves Dog with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dog shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Barraca as he jumps to the side.

Barraca tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dog paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Dog fails to land with a series of punches.
Horrible takedown attempt by Dog or perhaps it was just good defense by Barraca, which made it look bad.
Barraca tries to counter with a takedown but Dog is quick to defend against it.
Barraca really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dog throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barraca's waist but Barraca gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dog off to one side.
Barraca stuffs the takedown attempt from Dog. Dog gets slowly back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Dog tries to land a front kick but Barraca steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Dog moves into the clinch successfully.

Dog breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dog shoots in looking for a takedown. Barraca tries to sprawl out of it but Dog keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barraca manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Barraca shoots in but no luck this time.
Dog shoots in for a takedown but Barraca shows good takedown defense.

Tek Dog comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dog has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
